You can even visit the nearby historic towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. If you like, why not enjoy a drive to Hermanus for whale spotting in season or the West Coast with its fishing industry or the wonder of the flowers in season. All this can be visited in a day trip. You can explore the Helderberg area with its wine route and historical Vergelegen Wine Estate. The close by Nature Reserve with the unique fynbos vegetation and
stunning views over False Bay is ideal for walks up to 6 hours. The area is a paradise for golfers. More than 15 golf courses are within a 30 minutes drive. If you want to play tennis, join our Somerset West Country Club as a guest. The 6 courts are situated in a beautiful surrounding.

Strand's beach, just a 10 min drive from us, a 5 km sweep of silver sand, is ideal for water sport enthusiasts. For those who like horse riding we can provide information and arrange bookings.
